Outside-In from the Introduction At the beginning of 2002 I made the conscious decision to completely alter the way I lived my life. It seemed to me, looking at the world in general there was a distinct possibility we might have got things a bit out of balance. Putting the greater part of my energies and efforts into the practical issues of daily existence and ignoring, or at best squashing into the odd available nanosecond, my spiritual element wasn't doing it for me....... So, I decided to embark upon an experiment. To live my life in the reverse ratio of energy input. To devote the vast majority of my time to my spiritual life and allow the practical elements of my daily existence to emerge as a result. Actually to become one of 'the lilies of the field'. To this end I resigned from my job, which in turn meant giving up my rented flat, and attempted to respond to what came my way. I tried to trust that I would be shown where to go and took responsibility for my reaction to each opportunity as it was presented....... What follows is a record of some of the events that chart the course of my experiment to date....... As you read it you may conclude that I'm on to something here.
